James is an award-winning illustrator from Nottingham, UK, currently based in Calgary, Canada. He specialises in hand-drawn, decorative illustrations for editorial, murals, books and home-wares.
The hand-rendered character in linework is something James likes to maintain as much as possible - whether the work is created for a magazine page or a large-scale restaurant mural. Working with a blend of analogue and digital techniques, James' work has been published in many commercial applications, including restaurant menus, magazines, books, advertisements, brochures and airports.
